The Public Theater announced complete casting today for the New York Premiere of PARTY PEOPLE by UNIVERSES (Steven Sapp, Mildred Ruiz-Sapp, and William Ruiz a.k.a Ninja. Developed and directed by Liesl Tommy with choreography by Millicent Johnnie, PARTY PEOPLE begins performances on Tuesday, November 1 and runs through Sunday, December 4, with an official press opening on Tuesday, November 15.

Closing out the 2012-2013 season at PlayMakers Repertory Company is the world premeire of Spring Training, a commissioned work by UNIVERSES, as a part of their prc2 line-up. The Oregon Shakespeare Festival will open the world premiere production of Party People at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 7 in the New Theatre. Written by UNIVERSES (Mildred Ruiz-Sapp, Steven Sapp, William Ruiz, a.k.a. Ninja), the play is directed by Liesl Tommy, who last directed Ruined (2010) at OSF. Party People will run through November 3.
