Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts has announced the award-winning Gioia De Cari's TRUTH VALUES: One Girl's Romp Through M.I.T.'s Male Math Maze, directed by Miriam Eusebio will play five performances at The Harold Prince Theatre, Annenberg Performing Arts Center (3680 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104), in addition to five other cities this Fall Season. Performances begin Tuesday, October 1 and continue through Saturday, October 5.

That hypnotic line from Dracula by Steven Dietz, sets a terrifying tone for a new season of "killer shows" at the Farmington Players Barn. John Boufford of Northville Township directs the new adaptation of the classic horror tale that he refers to as a "PG-13" production. The play preserves the suspense and seduction found in Bram Stoker's famous novel. It opens October 11th on the Barn's brand new stage floor, and runs through November 2nd. Becky Foster is stuck in neutral-middle aged, in middle management and a middling marriage-until an honest misunderstanding with a wealthy widower offers her the chance at an exciting double life...and she takes it. Now she's frantically juggling to keep her two worlds apart before everything threatens to come crashing down on her. It's enough to drive Becky off a cliff, and she's taking the audience along for the ride! Dietz, a highly prolific author and one of the most widely produced playwrights in America, was commissioned by Seattle's A Contemporary Theatre to write Becky's New Car in 2008 as a birthday present from one of the theatre's donors to his wife. The NATIONAL NEW PLAY NETWORK (NNPN), the country's alliance of non-profit theatres that champions the development, production, and continued life of new plays, proudly announces a grant of $600,000 from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation for its programs over the next three years. The gift - the largest received by NNPN in its 15-year history - was approved by the Trustees of the Foundation.
