Undercover Productions will present the WORLD PREMIERE of ETHEL SINGS: Espionage in High C, written by Joan Beber. ETHEL SINGS begins previews on June 27th, with tonight's June 28th opening at Walker Space. Tennessee Williams' The Two-Character Play, uniting the talents of Tony Award winner Amanda Plummer (Agnes of God, Pulp Fiction) and Academy Award nominee Brad Dourif (One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest), directed by Gene David Kirk, opened Wednesday night at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street). The Peccadillo Theater Company is currently presenting the first major NYC revival of Sidney Howard's THE SILVER CORD, directed by OBIE Award winner Dan Wackerman. Cabaret performer Jamie deRoy hosted an evening of her Multi MAC Award-winning variety show, Jamie deRoy & friends, on Friday, December 28th (7PM) at Manhattan's cabaret hot-spot Metropolitan Room. American Theater Group, New Jersey's newest professional theater, under the leadership of Jim Vagias, Joe Mancuso and Rick Sordelet, presents ZERO HOUR, Jim Brochu's acclaimed play about the life of theatre legend Zero Mostel. The strictly limited engagement of the Peccadillo Theater Company's hit production of Moss Hart & George S. Kaufman's THE MAN WHO CAME TO DINNER will end its run as scheduled today, December 18th. Starring Jim Brochu as Sheridan Whiteside and Tony Award winner Cady Huffman as Lorraine Sheldon, this marks the Off-Broadway debut of the classic American comedy.
