Arizona Theatre Company Extends SECOND CITY DOES ARIZONA Thru 4/25

Due to audience demand, Arizona Theatre Company has added two performances of The Second City Does Arizona, or Close But No Saguaro on Sunday, April 25 at 2 PM and 7 PM.

Tim Allen Hosted TV Land Awards Honoring GLEE, Mel Brooks et al., 4/25

Tim Allen hosted the 2010 TV Land Awards on April 17 and the show will air on television April 25. In this 8th installment of the awards ceremony, legendary comedians Mel Brooks and Carl Reiner; the cast of 'Everybody Loves Raymond' including Ray Romano, Brad Garrett, Patricia Heaton, Doris Roberts, Madylin Sweeten, Sawyer Sweeten and Sullivan Sweeten; 'Charlie's Angels' stars Cheryl Ladd, Jaclyn Smith and GLEE cast members Jane Lynch, Dianna Agron, Jayma Mays, Jessalyn Gilsig and Kevin McHale are among the honorees, with more talent to be announced soon. The gala was taped on Saturday, April 17 on the historic Stage 15 on the Sony Lot in Culver City. The show premieres on Sunday, April 25 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.

From sagebrush to Sheriff Joe, from Green Valley to kokopelli - it's time to batten down the barrel cactus because The Second City is on their way to the Grand Canyon State to do a no-holds-barred world premiere comedy revue all about Arizona. THE SECOND CITY DOES ARIZONA is an original revue of comic sketches and songs aimed at skewering everything and everyone that is unique, ridiculous and wonderful about the land of rising temperatures and falling real estate. The Second City Does Arizona plays in Tucson at the Temple of Music and Art from April 3 through April 24. It continues its run in Phoenix at the Herberger Theater Center from April 29 through May 16.

Groban, Tomei Join Carell and Gosling In New WB Film

Marisa Tomei and musician Josh Groban have joined the cast of the Steve Carell-Ryan Gosling marital crisis comedy for Warner Bros, according to Variety. The new film will be directed by John Requa and Glenn Ficarra, and features a screenplay by Dan Fogelman.

Bacon Joins Carell For New Warner Bros. Film

Kevin Bacon will join Steve Carell in an untitled Dan Fogelman-Steve Carell project, according to The Hollywood Reporter. John Requa and Glenn Ficarra will direct the movie for Warner Bros. Filming will begin in late April.

USA Network Announces 2010-2011 Lineup, Features Work From Carell, Higgins, Edwards & More

USA Network, the number one cable network, is set to continue its track record of award-winning and highly-rated original series for the 2010-2011 television season. Jeff Wachtel, president, original programming, USA Network and co-head, original content, Universal Cable Productions, today announced the network development slate of seven new pilot scripts from acclaimed television and film notables, including Steve Carell ('The Office'), John Michael Higgins ('Best in Show'), and Anthony Edwards ('ER'). Additionally, USA showrunners Steve Franks, creator of PSYCH, and John McNamara, executive producer of IN PLAIN SIGHT, along with FACING KATE writer Jan Nash, are in talks to develop projects, demonstrating the network's confidence in its current series collaborators.
