The company of the first North American tour of WICKED welcomes Kim Zimmer as Madame Morrible and Cliffton Hall as Fiyero on Tuesday, August 14 and Patti Murin as Glinda on Tuesday, August 21 in Salt Lake City, UT.

Michael Riedel reports in today's The New York Post that 'It appears that Jujamcyn's got "Kinky Boots" and will put it in the Al Hirschfeld Theatre next spring following an out-of-town tryout in Chicago in the fall. Jujamcyn's co-producer will be Hal Luftig, who's on a roll with the hit revival of Evita.'

A day-of-performance drawing for a limited number of orchestra seats will be held for WICKED, which is returning to the Capitol Theatre with performances from July 18-August 26.

Producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig have announced the full cast and creative team for the World Premiere of Kinky Boots, the new musical that brings together four-time Tony® Award-winner Harvey Fierstein (Book) and Grammy® Award-winning rock icon Cyndi Lauper (Music & Lyrics). Original Broadway cast member Jared Gertner will star as Elder Cunningham in the First National Tour of THE BOOK OF MORMON, launching in Denver from August 14-September 2 at The Ellie Caulkins Opera House. Gertner will join previously announced Gavin Creel as Elder Price. Samantha Marie Ware joins as Nabulungi, as well as Grey Henson as Elder McKinley and Kevin Mambo as Mafala Hatimbi.

WICKED, one of the most anticipated musical productions of the 2012 - 2013 KeyBank Broadway at the Paramount series will go on sale to the public on Friday, June 22 at 10am. Tickets will be available on-line at stgpresents.org, tickets.com, and select Ticketmaster locations. Tickets will also be available by calling 877-STG-4TIX (784-4849) or in person at The Paramount Theatre Box Office (Monday through Friday, 10am to 6pm). There is an 8-ticket limit per patron.

The London production of THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of Nine 2011 Tony Awards including Best Musical of the Year, will begin preview performances in the West End at the Prince of Wales Theatre on 25 February 2013 with tickets released for general sale on 13 September 2012.

According to the Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye, Broadway's THE BOOK OF MORMON, is set to begin performances in the UK at the Prince of Wales Theatre, February 25, 2013, with an official opening later in March.

With oddly still no official word on who would be taking over as the new leads in the Tony-winning THE BOOK OF MORMON for departing stars (and former Tony nominees) Josh Gad (June 6) and Andrew Rannells (June 10), BWW reached out to a source in the production who confirmed that standby Jared Gertner would be taking over for Gad as Elder Cunningham and standby Nic Rouleau will be taking over for Rannells as Elder Price.

The Lyric Stage Company production of AVENUE Q rivals the national tour that passed this way four years ago. The run has been extended (twice) by popular demand to July 1st. Director Spiro Veloudos has assembled one of the best musical ensemble casts of the season.

A day-of-performance lottery for a limited number of orchestra seats will be held for WICKED, which is returning to the Benjamin & Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center with performances from May 30 - June 24. Two and one-half hours prior to each performance, people who present themselves at the Ticket Center Stage Box Office, located in the Wintergarden of the Schuster Center, will have their names placed in a lottery drum; thirty minutes later, names will be drawn for a limited number of orchestra seats at $25 each, cash only. This lottery is available only in-person at the box office, with a limit of two tickets per person. Lottery participants must have a valid photo ID when submitting their entry form, if chosen, when purchasing tickets.

WICKED goes on sale to the public today, May 19 at 7 a.m.; tickets will be exclusively available at the box office from 7 to 10 a.m. on-site at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts at 361 Symphony Park Avenue in Las Vegas. Beginning at 10 a.m., any remaining tickets will be available for purchase online at www.TheSmithCenter.com or by phone at 702-749-2000. There is an 8-ticket limit per patron.
