THE 67TH ANNUAL TONY AWARDS are being broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall, tonight, June 9th (8:00-11:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network. Kinky Boots opened on Broadway at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre on April 4, 2013. In Kinky Boots, Charlie Price (Tony Award nominee Stark Sands) has suddenly inherited his father's shoe factory, which is on the verge of bankruptcy. Trying to live up to his father's legacy and save his family business, Charlie finds inspiration in the form of Lola (Billy Porter). A fabulous entertainer in need of some sturdy stilettos, Lola turns out to be the one person who can help Charlie become the man he's meant to be. As they work to turn the factory around, this unlikely pair finds that they have more in common than they ever dreamed possible... and discovers that when you change your mind about someone, you can change your whole world. A day-of-performance lottery for a limited number of orchestra seats will be held for WICKED, which is returning to the Marcus Center with performances from June 12-July 7. Two and one-half hours prior to each performance, people who present themselves at the Marcus Center box office will have their names placed in a lottery drum; thirty minutes later, names will be drawn for a limited number of orchestra seats at $25 each, cash only. This lottery is available only in-person at the box office, with a limit of two tickets per person. Lottery participants must have a valid photo ID when submitting their entry form and, if chosen, when purchasing tickets.
