The National Theatre of the Deaf has appointed a theatre veteran as its new executive director, while it also has opened a main office at the O'Neill Theater Center in New London.

The Criterion Theatre will present PLAYING THE GAMES, a programme of work which will celebrate both artistic and sporting talent featuring emerging and established actors, comedians, musicians, playwrights and Olympians.

Raj Ghatak, Thomas Milner, Gerard Carey and Neil McCaul will join Jenna Russell and Michael Xavier in the world premiere of Stiles & Drewe's SOHO CINDERS at Soho Theatre running from 2nd August to 9th September 2012. The full-scale production with a live band also features the voice of Stephen Fry.

Peter Jackson has just released a video blog on the making of the highly-anticipated film, THE HOBBIT. The video is one of a series he has produced which give fans a behind-the scenes look at the upcoming film. The 2012 Orange British Academy Film Awards nominations were announced by Daniel Radcliffe and Holliday Grainger at BAFTA's headquarters in London. The Orange British Academy Film Awards take place on Sunday, February 12th at the Royal Opera House at Covent Garden, London. This is the fifteenth year of Orange's sponsorship of the Film Awards. The ceremony will be hosted by Stephen Fry.
