The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Executive Director Andrew D. Hamingson) in association with and at NYU Skirball Center will begin previews Wednesday, December 1 for the acclaimed Tricycle Theatre Company's THE GREAT GAME: AFGHANISTAN.

This year's shortlist for the 56th Annual London Evening Standard Theatre Awards have been announced, placing LEGALLY BLONDE'S Sheridan Smith as one of the nominees for the Natasha Richardson Award for Best Actress. The LES Theatre Awards will be presented by Stephen Fry on Sunday, November 28 at The Savoy Hotel.

Patrick Barlow has written and will direct Star Child in aid of The Art Room Charity for one night only at the Almeida Theatre on Sunday 5 December 2010 at 7pm.

According to a report by Baz Bamigboye in Daily Mail Onlline, Jemima Rooper is set to star alongside Daniel Crossley in the upcoming production of Me and My Girl at Sheffield's Cubicle Theatre. Shows begin December 2. Jemima is currently starring in All My Sons at the Apollo Theatre.

Antony Sher will lead the cast in Arthur Miller's Broken Glass, directed at the Tricycle Theatre by Iqbal Khan. Broken Glass, designed by Mike Britton with lighting by Matthew Eagland runs from 30 September - 27 November, with press night on 6 October 2010. Further casting will be announced shortly.
