Voting is fully underway for BroadwayWorld's 2010 Theatre Fans' Choice Awards, with thousands of votes already in and early leads established for some surprising and not so suprising early results. Voting will continue through June 4, 2010 and anything can happen between now and then. In the meantime early leaders range from those overlooked by the TONY nominations to fan favorites. Outer Critics Circle, the organization of writers covering New York theatre for out-of-town newspapers, national publications and other media beyond Broadway publicly announced the nominees for the 2009-10 season on Monday, April 26th at the historic Algonquin Hotel. Outer Critics Circle posted award nominations in 23 categories and are the first major Broadway/Off-Broadway award nominees of the New York theater season. Having recently departed Broadway's Lips Together, Teeth Apart, it seems Megan Mullally is putting her energy into her project, Karen: The Musical, based on her Will & Grace alter ego, Karen Walker.

Megan Mullally will join the cast of the Starz's television hit, 'Party Down.' Mullally joins the cast after the departure of GLEE star Jane Lynch, who starred in season one. Lynch left the show in order to continue her work on GLEE. Mullally's character will debut April 23rd.
