The Richard Rodgers Theatre Box Office (226 West 46th Street) opens today at 10:00am EST for the new Broadway production of Shakespeare's ROMEO AND JULIET, starring international film star Orlando Bloom and two-time Tony Award nominee Condola Rashad as the titular star-crossed lovers, and directed by five-time Tony Award nominee David Leveaux. The opening of the box office also marks the launch of the production's Student Ticket Program; in order to make this production accessible to all, 100 tickets per performance will be set aside at $20 for students and educators.

Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show 'Best in Show' winner Banana Joe made his Broadway debut last night in Roundabout Theatre Company's critically acclaimed new Broadway production of Rupert Holmes' The Mystery of Edwin Drood. The first affenpinscher to win Best in Show, Banana Joe performed the role of 'Macaco,' usually played by Macaco, a 5-year old, 3 ½ lb Maltese/Yorkie mix, who generously agreed to take the night off to offer this once in a lifetime experience to Banana Joe.
Beginning February 12, Andrew Samonsky will join the company and assume the role of 'Neville Landless'. Original cast member Andy Karl will play his final performance on February 10.
