The Summer Solos Series (Scott Morfee and Darren Lee Cole, producers), a celebration of the best in solo performance and shows by acclaimed playwrights and performers, presents the one-night only performance of The Unbearable Lightness of Being Taylor Negron, the spoken-word fusion of hysterically moving true stories and music, written and performed by the iconoclastic actor and comedian, under the direction of the esteemed David Schweizer, featuring music by Logan Heftel.

Cabaret performer and producer Jamie deRoy will present a special evening with Larry Gatlin and The Gatlin Brothers on Friday, June 26th (7PM) at the New York hotspot Metropolitan Room (34 West 22nd Street Between 5th & 6th Avenues).

A special benefit performance of Spalding Gray: Stories Left To Tell is scheduled for July 16, 2009 with proceeds going to the Spalding Gray Scholarship Fund. All performances begin at 8:00 p.m. Immediately following each performance there will be a brief reception with the artist in the Huron Club, located inside the Soho Playhouse.

Playing Friday, April 10 through Sunday, May 17 at Central Square Theater, this production of The Life of Galileo, Brecht's widely acclaimed masterpiece of science theater, is translated by David Hare, directed by David Wheeler, and stars Boston area favorite Richard McElvain in the title role. Press night is set for Thursday, April 16 at 7:30 PM.

Ranging from uproarious comedies to a modern retelling of Ibsen's feminist classic to stories centered on Chinese opera and American jazz, the 2009-2010 season showcases Shakespeare, celebrated Irish playwrights and new American voices.
