Leapin' lizards! With more than 400 performances under her belt, the new U.S. National Tour of ANNIE will play the National Theatre for one week only, March 15 - 20, 2016. Today, acclaimed Christian hip-hop and R&B artist, songwriter and producer Christon Gray releases his highly-anticipated sophomore solo project and major label debut, THE GLORY ALBUM

Announced yesterday via Instagram, Christon Gray is set to release his debut album on Kirk Franklin's Fo Yo Soul Recordings/RCA label.

On last night's LATE SHOW, Jazz artist Esperanza Spalding performed 'Good Lava' off of her new album 'Emily's D+Evolution.'

The Spalding Gray National Consortium is pleased to announce that theater-maker and visual artist Tim Etchells is the recipient of the 2016 Spalding Gray Award. Named after the groundbreaking monologist Spalding Gray (1941-2004), the award is sponsored by a consortium that includes Kathleen Russo, Gray's widow; Performance Space 122; the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis;The Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh; and On the Boards in Seattle. The Award comes with a $20,000 commission to create a new work and provides for a full production of that work presented by each organization. Past recipients include Richard Maxwell, Rabih Mroue, National Theater of the United States of America, Radiohole, and Heather Woodbury.

Based on Wilde's late 19th century novella, Pink and his 'dream team,'--Lighting Designer David Grill, Composer Philip Fenney and Costume/Scenic Designer Todd Edward Ivins--sparked magical genius in the first full length ballet staged in the Historic Pabst Theater. Ivins spoke the essence of the moment when he stated, 'A historic occasion in a historic theater.'

Original Broadway Cast member Jackie Burns (If/Then, Wicked, Hair), Tamyra Gray (American Idol Season One Finalist, Rent), and Matthew Hydzik (Side Show, West Side Story, Grease) have joined Original Broadway Cast member Anthony Rapp (Rent, Six Degrees of Separation, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown) and the rest of the previously announced cast in the National Tour of IF/THEN. Coming this February, Milwaukee Ballet and Artistic Director Michael Pink introduce their World Premiere ballet Dorian Gray. Based on the British 1980 novel by Oscar Wilde, Pink originally debuted another version of this story in Augsburg, Germany two years ago. This year in Milwaukee, PInk commissioned a new score by Philip Feeney, scenic and costume designs by Todd Edward Ivins, and returns Emmy award-winning Lighting Designer David Grill to envision the ominous story.. Grill will be at Super Bowl 50 on Sunday, February 7, and then 'after lighting Coldplay will light the Milwaukee Ballet.' This tour-de-force creative collaboration underscores fresh choreography by Pink to produce another full-length ballet performed for the first time in the Historic Pabst Theater over two full winter weekends.
