Tony and Olivier Award winning star Mark Rylance (La Bête, Boeing-Boeing) will recreate his wildly acclaimed, multi award-winning performance as Johnny ‘Rooster' Byron on Broadway in the Royal Court Theatre production of Jez Butterworth's universally heralded new play, JERUSALEM. The production, directed by Ian Rickson, will also star Mackenzie Crook (The Seagull, 'The Office') as Ginger and most of the original Royal Court cast, with full casting to be announced at a later date. JERUSALEM will open on Broadway on April 21, 2011 at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street). Previews will begin on April 2, 2011. The production will play a limited 16-week engagement.
Susan McFadden will play the leading role of Elle Woods in the West End hit Legally Blonde The Musical. McFadden, an original member of the Legally Blonde cast who as well as playing the role Serena - one of Elle's sorority sisters - has also been wowing audiences as the show's alternate Elle since October. She joins Denise Van Outen, Alex Gaumond, Siobhan Dillon, Aoife Mulholland, Carley Stenson, Simon Thomas and Peter Davison in Legally Blonde The Musical which is currently booking until 22 October 2011 at the Savoy Theatre where it has been playing to packed houses since it opened in December 2009.

Six-time Emmy Award nominee Jeffrey Tambor ('Arrested Development,' 'The Larry Sanders Show') will make his Broadway musical debut as Georges opposite four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein as Albin in the Tony Award-winning revival of LA CAGE AUX FOLLES. American playwright Katori Hall's The Mountaintop was named Best Play at the 2010 Olivier Awards in London. Writes Riedel: Hodge's co-star, the excellent Kelsey Grammer, is likely to leave the show in February as well, so the hunt is on for a new Georges...Mike Myers is said to be in the mix.'
Four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein is returning to Broadway, starring as Albin in the 2010 Tony Award-winning revival of LA CAGE AUX FOLLES. Fierstein won the 1984 Tony Award for writing LA CAGE, but this will be his first time appearing in the show. He will debut on Tuesday, February 15 at the Longacre Theatre (220 West 48th Street) for a limited run of 12 weeks only. Fierstein's co-star will be announced soon.
