Signature Theatre is proud to announce the full cast and creative team for the world premiere production of Light Years. Directed by Signature Theatre Artistic Director Eric Schaeffer (Broadway's Follies, Gigi, Million Dollar Quartet), this new musical features music, lyrics and book by Robbie Schaefer of the band Eddie from Ohio. Robbie journeys from his childhood in India to the joys and struggles of growing up, pursuing his passion and raising a family. Entwined throughout is his cherished relationship with his father and his father's haunted past. Light Years will run February 6 March 4 in Signature Theatre's MAX Theatre.

Rainbow Theatre Project will mount a full production of Wendy Graf's No Word in Guyanese for Me as part of the Women's Voices Theater Festival, a regional collaboration that includes 30 Washington, D.C.-area theaters producing plays by female and female-identifying playwrights. After being performed as a staged reading last season, No Word in Guyanese for Me will run from February 8 March 4, 2018 at the District of Columbia Arts Center.

This new production, directed by Drama Desk Award-winner Lila Neugebauer (Signature Plays, Everybody), honors Legacy Playwright Edward Albee, who was in residence at Signature during the 1993-94 Season and returned to the company for four more productions. Albee passed away in 2016.
