Producers have announced that Ali Ahn will play the role of Susan Johnston, Leighton Bryan will play the roles of Jill/Debbie/Lisa, Elise Kibler will play the roles of Becky/Clara/Denise, and Andy Truschinski will play the roles of Chris Boxer/Mark/Waiter/Ray in the first Broadway revival of the Pulitzer and Tony Award-winning Wendy Wasserstein play The Heidi Chronicles. This will be the Broadway debut for Ahn and Truschinski, and, with the exception of understudy roles, this will also be the Broadway debut for Bryan and Kibler.

?The Pulitzer Prize winning play DISGRACED by Ayad Akhtar will play its final Broadway performance on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at the Lyceum Theatre, 149 West 45th Street. As of that date, it will have played 149 performances and 27 previews. In addition to the Pulitzer Prize, DISGRACED received Obie and Joseph Jefferson Awards.

The Best Musical Tony Award and Grammy Award-winning global sensation Once will play its final Broadway performance today, January 4, 2015. As of today, the musical will have played 1,167 performances and 22 previews.

Producers of the acclaimed new play THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME have announced a new block of tickets on sale through September 6, 2015.

The producers of the critically acclaimed new Broadway production of Bernard Pomerance's Tony Award-winning classic The Elephant Man, starring two-time Academy Award nominee Bradley Cooper, Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Patricia Clarkson and Alessandro Nivola, have announced that the show officially recouped its $3.1 million capitalization costs after 6.5 weeks of performances (following the week ending December 21).

STOMP, the international percussion sensation, returns to Philadelphia for a holiday engagement beginning Dec. 26 through Dec. 30 at the Merriam Theater as part of Broadway Philadelphia, presented collaboratively by the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts and the Shubert Organization. From its beginnings as a street performance in the UK, STOMP has grown into an international sensation over the past 20 years, having performed in more than 50 countries and in front of more than 24 million people. The Really Useful Group, Warner Music Group & Access Industries, The Shubert Organization, and The Nederlander Organization announced today that School of Rock-The Musical, will have its World Premiere on Broadway. Previews will begin on Monday, November 2, 2015 at the Winter Garden Theatre, with an opening set for Sunday, December 6. Based on the smash hit 2003 film of the same title, School of Rock will feature music from the movie, as well as new music written byAndrew Lloyd Webber and lyricist Glenn Slater, with a book by Julian Fellowes. School of Rock-The Musical will be directed by Laurence Connor (currently represented on Broadway by Les Miserables).

Tam Mutu, who is making his Broadway debut as the passionate Doctor and poet Yurii Zhivago, Kelli Barrett (Wicked), Tony Award nomineeTom Hewitt (Rocky Horror Show), and Paul Nolan (Jesus Chris Superstar) will be joined by Lora Lee Gayer as Tonia Gromeko, Zhivago's devoted wife, in the new Broadway musical DOCTOR ZHIVAGO. Based on Boris Pasternak's Nobel Prize-winning 20th-century epic Russian masterpiece, DOCTOR ZHIVAGO will feature Jacqueline Antaramian and Jamie Jackson, with Heather Botts, Wendi Bergamini, Melody Butiu, Josh Canfield, Julian Cihi, Briana Carlson-Goodman, Bradley Dean, Michael Brian Dunn, Drew Foster, Kira Guloien, Robert Hager, Ericka Hunter, Denis Lambert, David McDonald, Joseph Medeiros, Pilar Millhollen, Gary Milner, Spencer Moses, Julius Sermonia, Jacob L. Smith and Jesse Wildman in a cast of 32.

The New 42nd Street has announced that its annual Gala, to be held Monday, January 12 at The New Victory Theater, will honor Tony, Emmy, and Golden Globe Award-winner John Lithgow with the New Victory Arts Award for his work in "bringing kids to the arts and the arts to kids." The New 42nd Street will also honor The Rudin Family with the inaugural Marian Heiskell Award for their role in shaping the future of New York City. Glenn Close will serve as Gala honorary chair.

According to the New York Post, John Kander and Fred Ebb's The Visit, which has been long-rumored for a Broadway run might be on its way to New York in 2015. Michael Riedel writes that book writer Terrence McNally, whose IT'S ONLY A PLAY is currently selling out the Schoenfeld Theatre, might be in the position to acquire funding from the play's producers and a theatre from the Shubert Organization.
