The Pasadena Playhouse, in association with David Shor Productions, announced today the full cast and creative team for SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE - THE MUSICAL. Single tickets are also currently on sale. Performances for the world premiere presentation will begin May 24 through June 23, with an official press opening on Sunday, June 2, 2013, at 5:00 p.m. at The Pasadena Playhouse.
The Pasadena Playhouse announced that the theatre would host the THIRD ANNUAL HIGH SCHOOL THEATRE FESTIVAL on Saturday, April 27, from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. The event will feature fifteen local high schools, each performing a theatrical piece of their selection. Admission to the Festival is $5.00 and all proceeds will go towards funding next year's High School Theatre Festival. This special, non-competitive, event was created so that all friends, family and supporters of the surrounding communities and the local schools may enjoy the talent of the participating students. This year's event will also feature surprise celebrity guest appearances.

The production enters its final two weeks of performances, playing through April 21, 2013.

The season will include a revival of the longest-running Broadway musical revue, Smokey Joe's Cafe featuring the musical masterpieces of the legendary team of Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller; Stoneface: The Rise and Fall and Rise of Buster Keaton, by Vanessa Claire Stewart and starring French Stewart ("3rd Rock From the Sun") which enjoyed a successful run at Sacred Fools Theatre Company this past summer; Above the Fold a new drama by Bernard Weinraub, about the world of journalism in the digital age, which received a HOTHOUSE at The Playhouse staged reading in 2012; Noel Coward's rarely produced A Song at Twilight, directed by Art Manke, who recently directed The Playhouse's hit revival of Coward's Fallen Angels; and a theatrical surprise production that will be selected and directed by Playhouse Artistic Director Sheldon Epps, to be announced at a later date. Panto at The Playhouse returns with Lythgoe Family Productions' special musical twist on the classic Aladdin tale, which will be offered as a holiday season add-on. The 2013-2014 Season begins September 2013.

A portion of the proceeds from this concert will benefit The Playhouse's Wells Fargo Theatrical Diversity Project. Tickets are now on sale for this special evening on Monday, April 15, at 7:00 p.m. that will feature all-new music from their upcoming album. A limited number of VIP tickets are available which include a Cafe Con Ozo meet and greet with the band members featuring Ozomatli's Ozo Espresso, courtesy of Zona Rosa Coffee. Zona Rosa Caffe and Ozomatli have a long history of collaboration, starting in 1995 when Ozo began playing weekly shows at the Pasadena coffeehouse that specializes in Organic and Latino coffees.
