SAMUEL FRENCH INC. OFF OFF BROADWAY SHORT PLAY FESTIVAL has received a record number of submissions for its 35th annual presentation, which will take place beginning July 13 at The Lion Theatre at Theatre Row.
Sheila Callaghan's Lascivious Something, directed by Daniella Topol and starring Rob Campbell, Dana Eskelson, Ronete Levenson and Elisabeth Waterston, opens Tuesday, May 11, at 7:00pm at Women's Project, 424 West 55th Street. Lascivious Something is presented by Women's Project, the 32-year-old non-profit theater dedicated to producing plays written and directed by women, and Cherry Lane Theatre, home to bold new voices.
The Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce St. in Manhattan) will conclude the 12th annual season of its award-winning Mentor Project Series with the debut of Winter Miller's play PATERNITY, performing May 18 through May 29 in the Studio Theatre at Cherry Lane.

Aaron Louis (Producing Director, 3LD Art & Technology Center) in association with New Georges and The Essentials, will present the world premiere of THE DIARY OF A TEENAGE GIRL, written by Marielle Heller, adapted from the hit graphic novel of the same name by Phoebe Gloeckner, and directed by Sarah Cameron Sunde and Rachel Eckerling in a multi-media production. Performances began on Sunday, March 15 3LD Art & Technology Center, 80 Greenwich Street (just south of Rector Street). The production will end its run Monday, April 12.)

In celebration of its 15th Anniversary season, Rattlestick Playwrights Theater will present theaterjam, a one-day festival featuring the work of many of the company's favorite playwrights, actors and directors. The event will take place at the Rattlestick Theatre (224 Waverly Place - off Seventh Avenue South between West 11th & Perry Streets) on Sunday, March 28th. Doors will open at 3:00pm. There is a $10 admission charge (cash only) for all day entry - and includes one free beer! There will even be a raffle drawing for amazing prizes.
