Teatro Vista has announced the addition of two new ensemble members and seven new artistic associates to the company. The new ensemble members include Ramon Camin and Tommy Rivera-Vega. New artistic associates include Jennifer Aparicio, Cruz Gonzalez-Cadel, Carlo Lorenzo Garcia, Isaac Gomez, Ayssette Muñoz, Yunuen Pardo and Jessie Prez.

Sunny Afternoon, the critically acclaimed new musical, which tells the story of the early life of Ray Davies and the rise to stardom of The Kinks, has released seven preview tracks from the official cast recording album, released later this month. All 29 tracks on the album are performed entirely by members of the company, with John Dagleish as Ray Davies, George Maguire as Dave Davies, Ned Derrington as Pete Quaife and Adam Sopp as Mick Avory.

Moving Dust presents SOMETIMES THERE'S LIGHT [SOMETIMES THERE'S DARK], touring nationally from 8-22 November 2014. Performed in a village hall, an old warehouse, a derelict chapel and the gym of an ex-military barracks, this multi-sensory work uses handheld movable light and contemporary dance to create an intimate meditation on love, loss, grief and death.

Roundabout Theatre Company presents Tom Stoppard's Tony Award-winning play, The Real Thing, starring Ewan McGregor as 'Henry' and Maggie Gyllenhaal as 'Annie' in their Broadway debuts; Cynthia Nixon as 'Charlotte' and Josh Hamilton as 'Max.' The National Theatre production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, the acclaimed new play by Simon Stephens, adapted from Mark Haddon's best-selling novel, directed by Tony Award-winner Marianne Elliott, officially opened on Broadway on October 5 at the Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th Street). Robert Bathurst, Jamie Glover, Jemma Redgrave and Laura Rogers join Edward Fox and Patricia Routledge in Chichester's production of An Ideal Husband, the final drama of the season to be staged in the Festival Theatre.

The Old Globe invites your participation and coverage as it begins presenting shows through an exciting new producing platform, Globe for All. This free-of-charge tour of a professional production of Shakespeare will allow the theatre to serve more communities throughout San Diego by collaborating with a diverse range of local organizations. Old Globe Artistic Director Barry Edelstein directs the first production, Shakespeare's fascinating romance All's Well That Ends Well. He has cast local professional actors, including recent graduates of the Old Globe/University of San Diego Graduate Theatre Program. The first Globe for All free Shakespeare tour will begin October 28 and will culminate in three low-cost performances on November 7 to 9 in the Globe's Hattox Hall, part of the Karen and Donald Cohn Education Center in the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center.

Along with producing powerful Shakespeare plays like Julius Caesar (Oct. 28 - Dec. 7), Folger Theatre joins with Promundo-US to offer a special performance of Cry 'Havoc!' on Tuesday, November 4 at 7pm. This dramatic evening draws meaningful connections between soldiers and military personnel of our day with those of Shakespeare's works. It is written and performed by US military veteran Stephan Wolfert.

Full casting is announced for Emlyn Williams' masterpiece Accolade directed by award-winning director Blanche McIntyre. Alexander Hanson and Abigail Cruttenden lead the company as Will and Rona Trenting, with Bruce Alexander (Daker), Sam Clemmett (Ian Trenting), Claire Cox (Marion Tillyard), Daniel Crossley (Albert), Olivia Darnley (Phyllis), Jay Taylor (Harold) and Jay Villiers (Thane Lampeter). Accolade - produced by Nicola Seed - is the final production in Stage One's One Stage season at the St James Theatre.

For the first time in its history, Shakespeare's Globe is offering theatre, music and spoken word productions throughout the winter - including a riotous Christmas show, Adele Thomas's much-loved production of The Knight of the Burning Pestle and the 'Winter's Tales' featuring Penelope Wilton, Juliet Stevenson, Harriet Walter and Roger Allam.

Now in its sixth consecutive year, the multi-award-winning Finborough Theatre presents Vibrant 2014 - A Festival of Finborough Playwrights, its annual explosion of new writing and part of its 20 Premieres season, running between 2-20 November 2014.

The cast for Roy Williams' new play, Wildefire, which plays on the Main Stage at Hampstead Theatre 6 - 29 November will be led by Lorraine Stanley as Gail Wildefire, with Cian Barry, Ricky Champ, Fraser James, Simon Manyonda and Sharlene Whyte (Biographies below) and Eric Kofi Abrefa, Danny Dalton, Sammy Hayman, Tara Hodge and Noof Ousellam.

Rehearsals begin today, Thursday, October 2 in New York City for The River, a new play by Jez Butterworth, starring Hugh Jackman, Laura Donnelly and Cush Jumbo and directed by Ian Rickson. The River begins preview performances in four weeks on Friday, October 31 and will open on Sunday, November 16 at the Circle in the Square Theatre (50th Street between Broadway and Eighth Avenue). The production will play a strictly limited 13-week engagement through Sunday, January 25, 2015.

Quintessence Theatre Group launches its fifth season of progressive classic theatre with an all-male Shakespeare repertory: AS YOU LIKE IT presented in rotating repertory with RICHARD II. Bringing together the best professional actors and designers from Philadelphia and across the country, Artistic Director Alexander Burns leads this collective of artists on a mission to ignite the classics through visceral, actor-focused and text-driven productions. AS YOU LIKE IT will begin previews today, October 1 at 7pm and open on Saturday, October 4 at 8pm.
