Kim Cattrall Withdraws from Royal Court Theatre's LINDA

BroadwayWorld has learned that stage and screen star Kim Cattrall has withdrawn from Royal Court Theatre's upcoming production of Penelope Skinner LINDA, at the 'advice of her doctors.' Olivier Award winner Noma Dumezweni replaces the SEX AND THE CITY alum in the title role.

Full Cast Announced for Tom Holloway's FORGET ME NOT at Bush Theatre

The cast for the UK premiere production of FORGET ME NOT by Tom Holloway is announced today! The complete cast is Eleanor Bron, Russell Floyd, Sarah Ridgeway and Sargon Yelda. The production, directed by HighTide Festival Theatre's Artistic Director Steven Atkinson, previews from 08 December (press night 11 December) and runs through 16 January 2016 in a co-production between the Bush Theatre and HighTide Festival Theatre.

English Touring Theatre to Bring THE ODYSSEY: MISSING PRESUMED DEAD to Exeter Northcott This Month

English Touring Theatre return to the Exeter Northcott Theatre at the end of November (24-28 Nov 2015), this time with THE ODYSSEY: MISSING PRESUMED DEAD, their acclaimed collaboration with Liverpool Everyman and Playhouse. The production reunites Simon Armitage and Nick Bagnall after their recent collaborations on The Last Days of Troy and Sir Gawain and the Green Knight.

The show has been thrilling audiences around the country with its blend of wit and insight into black female racial stereotypes '. I love satirical comedy, and this piece satirises modern existence, along with a few cheeky little dance numbers for the audiences entertainment.' said Racheal. At times the show blends poetry seamlessly into the mix  'Portrait toys with issues that are quite provocative, and so I feel that using poetry helps bring these issues to light. Using poetry as a language for some of the characters is a surprise; as stereotypically one wouldn't imagine them to use such language to communicate their ideas.'

Michelle Duncan, Charlotte Emmerson and More Set for THE DISTANCE, Opening Tonight at Sheffield

Sheffield Theatres and Orange Tree Theatre present Deborah Bruce's The Distance. Charlotte Gwinner directs Michelle Duncan (Bea), Charlotte Emmerson (Alex), Daniel Hawksford (Dewi), Charlotte Lucas(Kate), Timothy Knightley (Simon), Steven Meo (Vinnie) and Joshua Sinclair-Evans (Liam). The production opens tonight 3 November, with previews from 29 October, and runs until 14 November at Sheffield Theatres, ahead of a run at Orange Tree Theatre from 26 November to 19 December.

TV: Full Cast Announced in West End's HANGMEN - First Trailer Released!

Full casting has today been announced for the West End run of the Royal Court Theatre's production of Hangmen. ProducersRobert Fox, Matthew Byam Shaw for Playful Productions and Royal Court Theatre Productions are delighted to announce that Andy Nyman will play Syd, Craig Parkinson will take on the role of Inspector Fry and Tony Hirst will play Bill, completing the cast of the West End production. Directed by Matthew Dunster, Martin McDonagh's Hangmen will transfer to the Wyndham's Theatre for a strictly limited season, previewing from 1 December.  Check out the new trailer below!
