As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Sunday's BROADWAY BARES XX: 'STRIP-OPOLY' made history by raising $1,015,985 to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. This marks the first time in BROADWAY BARES history that the $1 million dollar mark was reached, a goal that had been set this January by BARES creator and executive producer, Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell. Producer and Broadway Bares creator Jerry Mitchell has announced online that Broadway Bares 20 has broken its goal of $1 million dollars.

BROADWAY BARES XX: 'STRIP-OPOLY' featured over 200 of New York's sexiest dancers at Broadway's hottest night in an event produced by and benefitting Broadway Cares/ Equity Fights AIDS. BROADWAY BARES was held Sunday, June 20 with two performances only (9:30 PM & Midnight) at Roseland Ballroom (239 West 52nd Street). BROADWAY BARES XX: 'STRIP-OPOLY' is produced by and benefits Broadway Cares/ Equity Fights AIDS.

On April 8, 1992, Jerry Mitchell and six of the hottest dancers on Broadway danced on the bar at SPLASH, NYC to raise money for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. They raised $8,000.

A new documentary, Broadway Bares Documentary : celebrating 20 years has released an online promo as they solicit funds for completion. The documentary is directed by Daniel Robinson and the Executive Producer is Jerry Mitchell.

Arena is thrilled to announce the all-star cast of the upcoming musical The Fantasticks. Set in an abandoned amusement park, this re-imagined production directed by Amanda Dehnert with set design by 3-time Tony Award-winner Eugene Lee (Broadway's Wicked, Sweeney Todd and Candide) runs from November 20, 2009 through January 10, 2010 - a perfect show for the holiday season.

Full casting is set for the upcoming Arena Stage musical The Fantasticks by Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt. Arena's re-imagined production with direction by Amanda Dehnert, musical direction by George Fulginti-Shakar and set direction by Eugene Lee runs November 20, 2009 through January 10, 2010 at Arena Stage at the Lincoln Theatre.
