The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre's 2011 Season continues this summer when it brings the smash hit musical comedy Hairspray to the stage.

Today, ticketholders for the Tony-nominated Broadway musical CATCH ME IF YOU CAN will have a chance to win post-performance backstage access at the Neil Simon Theater, for a meet-and-greet with Aaron Tveit.

The Jefferson Performing Arts Society (JPAS) will hold a second round of auditions for specific roles in its 2011-2012 Season Thrusday, August 18, 2011 beginning at 6PM at the Westwego Performing Arts Theatre (177 Sala Avenue in Westwego, LA).

All roles are open to auditions. Those auditioning must be 16 years or older (with the exception of LIttle Inez-auditioner for that role should be 10+) and should be prepared to sing from the show or in the style of the show. Auditioners will also be asked to perform a brief dance combination that will be taught at the audition. Please supply sheet music if your audition selection is not from HAIRSPRAY. Accompaniment will be provided.

Currently playing the role of Frank Abagnale in Broadway's Tony-nominated musical Catch Me If You Can, the Tony-nominated actor Tom Wopat is set to release his next solo album on August 9, 2011. The jazz album will be entitled 'Consider It Swung,' and features covers, original music, and even a song that was cut from Catch Me If You Can. It is produced by the LML Music Label with piano accompaniment by Tedd Firth, Peter Grant on the drums, David Finck on bass and Bob Malach on saxophone.
