The Festival of New American Musicals, headed by its Executive Producers Marcia Seligson, Bob Klein, and Linda Shusett is announcing two events. The first is a closing party on Saturday, August 22 from 3 to 6 pm, honoring Stephen Schwartz, open to the public with donation. There will be performances of songs from Schwartz' musicals performed by Peter Gallagher, Marissa Jaret Winokur, Graham Phillips, David Burnham, Susan Egan, Georgia Stitt and others.

Newly Updated 'DOW JONES' With Paige, Hanlon, Berman Plays Minetta Lane Theatre 8/15-23

The new developmental production of How Now, Dow Jones starring Cristen Paige (Spelling Bee, The Visit, Cry-Baby), Colin Hanlon (Rent, I Love You Because) and Fred Berman (The Normal Heart, Room Service) will begin performances this Saturday at the Minetta Lane Theatre (18 Minetta Lane) as part of the 2009 New York International Fringe Festival. This new production will also restore an Elmer Bernstein-Carolyn Leigh cabaret favorite to the show: 'Shakespeare Lied'.

Leslie Kritzer and Doug Kreeger, stars of the new hit Off-Broadway musical ROOMS a rock romance, rang the NASDAQ closing bell in Times Square on Wednesday, April 29th. Introduced by NASDAQ Vice President David Wicks, Leslie and Doug addressed market-followers from around the world via satellite feed and the ceremony was broadcast live on the NASDAQ jumbotron looming over Times Square at Broadway & 43rd Street.
