Host Kristen Bell opened the 2014 CMT MUSIC AWARS with a hilarious pre-taped skit followed by a performance of an original song about belt buckles and moose knuckles.

With two years of CMT MUSIC AWARDS hosting experience under her belt, television and movie actress Kristen Bell revealed this morning on Twitter that she will return to host country music's biggest party of the year.

The Hollywood Bowl's upcoming production of Hair, the American Tribal Love-Rock musical, which won the Tony and Drama Desk Award for best revival of a musical in 2009, will star Kristen Bell as Sheila, Hunter Parrish as Claude, Amber Riley as Dionne, Jenna Ushkowitz as Jeanie and Beverly D'Angelo as Mom. Adam Shankman will direct and choreograph. Hair will be conducted by Lon Hoyt. Zach Woodlee will serve as associate director and associate choreographer. Additional casting is to be announced.

The studio confirmed the news today, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Wright co-wrote the script with Joe Cornish, and has been with the project since its initial development in 2006.

Atlantic Records announces the release of 'NEIGHBORS (ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK),' the musical companion to Universal Pictures' upcoming comedy starring Seth Rogen and Zac Efron. The album arrives at all DSPs today, April 29th; Neighbors arrives in theatres nationwide on May 9th.

New York City Ballet's 2014 Spring Season will open on Tuesday, April 29, with a one-week Festival of 21st Century Choreographers featuring 11 ballets by 10 different choreographers - Mauro Bigonzetti, William Forsythe, Peter Martins, Benjamin Millepied, Justin Peck, Angelin Preljocaj, Alexei Ratmansky, Liam Scarlett, Richard Tanner, and Christopher Wheeldon - as well the world premiere of a piece d'occasion by the artist JR, which will debut on opening night.

Canongate has signed a deal to publish a series of modern retellings of classic children's stories written by Russell Brand and illustrated by Chris Riddell. Jamie Byng, Publisher and MD of Canongate, acquired world rights in three books from Nik Linnen at John Noel Management (on behalf of Russell Brand) and from Philippa Milnes-Smith at LAW (on behalf of Chris Riddell).

Center Stage has announced the honorees for this year's Young Playwrights Festival, an annual competition that welcomes Maryland students in grades K-12 to submit original scripts. This year, student playwrights submitted nearly 500 plays. The plays selected will be showcased with workshops, in-school performances, and select pieces will be staged at the Annual Young Playwrights Festival performance at Center Stage on Monday, May 5, at 7 pm.

Syfy introduces ten hopeful creature designers who have come to Los Angeles with an incredible shared dream: to land a job working in Jim Henson's Creature Shop. Actress Mila Kunis is set to guest star in an upcoming episode of TWO AND A HALF MEN, which is broadcast on Thursdays (9:01-9:31PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. She will play Vivian, a young, beautiful, free-spirited world traveler who shows up on Walden's doorstep. Walden feels an instant connection with her, convinced she's “the one.” The problem is, Walden was about to propose to someone else.

According to E! News, Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher have taken their former on-screen romance off-screen as well; the couple just recently announced their engagement.

The project is inspired by the Israeli project Dance of the Hours by Orna Raiz, and features a script by Corinne Brinkerhoff.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, James Ponsoldt's THE END OF THE TOUR, starring Jason Segel as author David Foster Wallace, as well as Jesse Eisenberg, has been picked up by Sony Pictures Worldwide. The movie is set to begin filming this year.

Actors Kristen Bell and Michael B. Jordan will host the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' Scientific and Technical Awards on Saturday, February 15, at The Beverly Hills Hotel. They will present 19 awards to 52 individual recipients during the evening.

The project, from David Janollari, Jim Garavente, and Bateman, 'centers on long-time best friends Kurt and Laura as they grapple with the challenges of modern-day dating while their group of friends try and prove that they are destined to be together.'
