Kitchen Theatre Company to Present New Comedy DANCING LESSONS This Spring

Next up on Kitchen Theatre Company's 25th Anniversary Season is a warm, new comedy: DANCING LESSONS by Mark St. Germain Ithaca, NY: Kitchen Theatre Company's 25th Anniversary season continues with the romantic comedy Dancing Lessons by Mark St. Germain. Dancing Lessons opens for previews on March 20th and runs until April 3rd.

Kitchen Theatre Company is celebrating its 25th season in 2015-2016, and the centerpiece is PETER AND THE STARCATCHER, a play that is a celebration of live theater and ensemble story telling: a great adventure with music told by a cast of twelve actors and a 'let's put on a show' spirit. Funny and full of surprises, PETER AND THE STARCATCHER opens for previews on Sunday, January 31 and runs for eighteen performances, through February 21st.

Kitchen Theatre Company's 2015-2016 Season begins next month! This season marks a major milestone for the theater: the 25th Anniversary Season and the sixth in its beautifully renovated, LEED-certified home at 417 W. State/MLK, Jr. St. in downtown Ithaca, NY. Led by Artistic Director Rachel Lampert and Managing Director Stephen Nunley, Kitchen Theatre Company is Central New York's Off-Broadway theater, a small professional Equity company producing new and modern plays. 'Important conversations happen in the Kitchen' is the motto that has defined the work of this company for over two decades and motivated the play choices in this silver anniversary season. The Kitchen Theatre Company's 23rd Season continues with a play set in the Great Depression, featuring a gripping story and gorgeous singing. The Kitchen is pleased to be producing the regional premiere of Black Pearl Sings! by Frank Higgins this December, with preview performances on December 4, 5, and 6. Opening Night is December 7th, and the play closes December 22.
