This brand new, contemporary musical, with book by Amber Romina Cassell and music and lyrics by singer-songwriter Kristy Hanson features fourteen original songs in the pop-rock genre, with influences ranging from rhythm and blues to country.

Written by Patrick Tobin, CAKE stars Jennifer Aniston as the acerbic, hilarious Claire Simmons, who becomes fascinated by the suicide of Nina, a woman in her chronic pain support group. As she uncovers The Details of Nina's suicide and develops a poignant relationship with Nina's husband, Claire also grapples with her own very raw personal tragedy. Crackle, the multi-platform digital entertainment network, released an exciting line-up of new original programming and returning series this morning at the Digital Content NewFronts in New York City.

As previously announced, James Cameron is working on three sequels for Avatar, which hit the big screen in 2009. On Reddit, Cameron offered an update on his progress. He wrote, 'The second, third and fourth films all go into production simultaneously. They're essentially all in preproduction now, because we are designing creatures, settings, and characters that span all three films.
