Following the success of Sondheim's 80th birthday celebrations in 2010, this musical comedy based on modern relationships will be revived in 2011 starring Rupert Young (Merlin, Shameless, National Theatre) as Bobby, joined by a cast of musical theatre favourites including Olivier-nominated (Best Actress in a Musical) Siobhan McCarthy as Joanne.
A cast of seasoned West End musical theatre performers will join Rupert Young and Siobhán McCarthy in the first major revival of Stephen Sondheim's classic on the London stage in more than 15 years. Company, directed by Joe Fredericks, will feature Michelle Bishop, Katie Brayben, Greg Castiglioni, Mark Curry, Cassidy Janson, Laura Main, Leigh Mcdonald, Julia Nagle, Poppy Roe, Steven Serlin, Adam Venus and Matthew White.
The Invisible Man opened on 24 November and is booking until 13 February 2011. Illusions are by Paul Kieve, with set designs by Paul Farnsworth, costume designs by Matthew Wright, lighting by Jason Taylor, music by Steve Edis, sound by Gareth Owen and choreography by Sam Spencer-Lane.
