Village Players Training Center Announces Master Class With VPT Artistic Director Dan Taube

Village Players Training Center, the education wing of Village Players Theater in Oak Park, is pleased to announce their Masters Class in New American Classics. The Masters Class in Scene Study compliments Village Players Theater's Mainstage Theme 'New American Classics' taught by Dan Taube, Artistic Director, Village Players Theater. The class begins January 30, 2010.

ORPHAN'S HOME CYCLE Aimes for Broadway, Fall 2010

The New York Times has confirmed that THE ORPHAN'S HOME CYCLE will aim for a fall 2010 Broadway opening, as opposed to rushing the show in this spring, as we previously speculated. While the show had the opportunity to transfer from its current home Off-Broadway at the Signature Theatre into the Neil Simon Theatre on Broadway for a spring opening, the producers and director Michael Wilson have opted to take the extra time to better prepare the show for the move.

The Pulitzer Prize and Obie Award-winning Theatre for the New City (TNC) will hold its 7th Annual LOVE 'N' COURAGE Gala on Monday, February 22nd at the National Arts Club, this year honoring the beloved acting couple Eli Wallach and Anne Jackson, as well as Martha Coigney, director of the International Theatre Institute (ITI) in the U.S. for over 35 years, it has been announced by Crystal Field, co-founder and artistic director of Theater for the City. The LOVE 'N' COURAGE celebration will begin with cocktails at 6:30pm, Dinner at 7:00pm, and performances at 8:00pm.
