Weekend Movie Box Office Update: May 14 - May 17, 2010

The Village Voice announced today that the hit Broadway musical FELA! will perform at the 55th Annual Village Voice OBIE Awards on Monday, May 17, 2010, at Webster Hall. FELA!-which is produced by Shawn 'Jay-Z' Carter and Will & Jada Pinkett Smith, among others-is a musical based on the life and music of the iconic African composer and performer Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.

The Village Voice, the nation's largest alternative weekly newspaper, announced today that the 55th Annual OBIE Awards will take place on Monday, May 17, 2010 at Webster Hall in the East Village.

Last night, May 13, A BEHADING IN SPOKANE's Sam Rockwell was the featured guest on NBC's 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,' where he spoke about what it was like to work with Christopher Walken on stage and Mickey Roarke on screen. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sam Rockwell is joining the cast of DreamWorks' new film, Cowboys and Aliens, directed by Jon Favreau. The film will be the second collaboration between Rockwell and Favreau, the first being Iron Man 2, out in theaters this Friday, May 7.
