SAGE has announced that it will present the legend himself, Stephen Sondheim, with their first ever 'Lifetime Achievement in Theatre' Award during a pre-show cocktail reception at Brasserie Cognac Restaurant at 6 pm, followed by an 8 pm performance of Sondheim on Sondheim at Studio 54.

Last of the Boys, by Steven Dietz, directed by Susan Arnold, will be presented by Beowulf Alley Theatre, 11 S. 6th Avenue, 85701, downtown between Broadway and Congress. Last of the Boys, a 2006 Pulitzer Prize nominee, is presented in recognition of and to honor our American military families for their shared sacrifice.

Is "Ragtime" the Great American Musical? Tony Kushner's Angels in America has evolved from a play to a film, a TV series and now an opera. Making its UK debut, composer Péter Eötvös sates, 'In the opera version, I put less emphasis on the political line than Kushner...I rather focus on the passionate relationships, on the highly dramatic suspense of the wonderful text, on the permanently uncertain state of the visions.'
