London-based Punchdrunk-best known in New York as the creators of Sleep No More-opens its first venture into restaurants with The Heath at The McKittrick Hotel (542 W 27th Street, New York, NY), one of New York's most unique nightlife and entertainment destinations. In collaboration with EMURSIVE (Jonathan Hochwald, Arthur Karpati, and Randy Weiner) and Chef R.L. King, Punchdrunk has crafted a dining experience in the spirit of Sleep No More to compliment Chef King's menu, which is a modern take on classic American and British fare. Those dining at The Heath can therefore expect hearty cuisine with an ambiance-both on the plate and in the room-as only Punchdrunk could imagine. The Heath officially opens on Tuesday, November 26, 2013.

Today, The China Arts and Entertainment Group and IMG Artists announced a new joint venture called Sino America Global Entertainment (SAGE) - effectively establishing the largest private, performing arts partnership between the United States and China. The official signing was overseen by Liu Yandong, Vice Premier of the State Council, and Ding Wei, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Culture, during a Symposium in New York attended by dignitaries and executives from the leading arts, education and culture institutions in New York held at Carnegie Hall.

'Once Upon A Time In New York City'- a concert series featuring a slate of brand new songs about the Big Apple, made its 54 Below debut earlier this week. Merrimack Repertory Theatre (MRT) brings the romantic comedy Stella and Lou by Bruce Graham to Lowell November 29 - December 22, continuing the theater's 35th season. The play is directed by MRT Artistic Director Charles Towers and will be performed in the recently-renovated Nancy L. Donahue Theatre, located at 50 East Merrimack Street in historic downtown Lowell.
