Feeling lost in the shadows of marriage and post-WWI society, two unhappy London housewives decide to rent a villa in Italy for a ladies-only holiday away, reluctantly recruiting a pair of difficult upper-class women to share the cost and the experience.  There, among the wisteria blossoms and Mediterranean sunshine, the four women clash-and then begin to bond and bloom-rediscovering themselves in ways that they-and we-could never have expected.

BWW Interview: Dom Kelly of A Fragile Tomorrow Talks New Solo Album

Dom Kelly grew up around music. As part of the group, A Fragile Tomorrow, Dom along with brothers Sean, Brendan and friend Shaun Rhodes, Dom has travelled all over the world performing and entertaining. From the time he was 11 years old, Dom enjoyed the opportunity to make music with his band. With many challenges and obstacles to overcome early in their lives, A Fragile Tomorrow has been a source of strength for the family. Dom Kelly decided it was time to try to make some music on his own and his first solo album entitled “Everything is Just Enough” will be released on April 7, 2017. BWW caught up with Dom recently as he shared his thoughts and insights on his first album.

Yang Mai Challenges Traditional Forms in Made in China Installation

Influenced by the absurdity of his chaotic cultural surroundings, Yang Mai challenges traditional forms and reconfigures notions of value in his installation, Made in China. Merging sculpture with personal narrative and storytelling, Mai hopes to 'to redefine traditional notions of fashion and express the rebellion of humanity' as well as engage viewers in discussions about the possible functions of fashion and the sculptural possibilities of innovative garment installation.

PPAC's Community Outreach Committee Announces Winners of the ARTS Scholarships 2017 Program

Jo-Ann Ragosta, Chairperson of the ARTS Scholarships 2017 program, along with the members of the Community Outreach Committee of the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC), are pleased to announce the winners of the ARTS Scholarships 2017 program, sponsored by the Textron Charitable Trust and PPAC Annual Fund Donors.  This year's program will award scholarships to 36 talented Rhode Island students, ages 11 - 14, each of whom will receive a scholarship of up to $500 to attend a local summer arts education program of their choice (please see below for the list of ARTS Scholarships 2017 winners).

National Theatre's MY COUNTRY Coming to HOME This Spring

The National Theatre has collaborated with eight UK arts organisations to create a new play inspired by the recent EU Referendum, presented on stage at HOME as part of a UK tour following its current run at the NT's Dorfman Theatre in London.
