American Theater Company (ATC) continues its 30th Anniversary Season with the premiere of a revised version of The Royale by Orange is the New Black and Sons of Anarchy writer Marco Ramirez, directed by ATC Ensemble Member Jaime Castañeda, January 30 to March 8, 2015. American Theater Company (ATC), 1909 W. Byron Street, continues its 30th Anniversary season with the World Premiere of The Humans, written by Pulitzer Prize finalist and ATC signature playwright Stephen Karam and directed by ATC Artistic Director PJ Paparelli,November 14 - December 21; with an official opening night of Monday, November 17. The Humans is produced here under special arrangement with New York's Roundabout Theatre Company where it will premiere in New York next season.

American Theater Company announces a new partnership with The Araca Group (Broadway producers of Urinetown, Frankie and Johnny in the Claire de Lune, The Wedding Singer, Lend Me a Tenor, and A View From the Bridge, among others) in the development of new American plays in Chicago. The two organizations will partner to produce AracaWorks: Chicago, a weekend of readings of world premiere American plays from August 7-9, 2014 in Chicago. One of the three plays will receive a year of development, including a workshop production the following summer at ATC.

American Theater Company (ATC) announces new performance dates for its world premiere production of the revised version of columbinus, written by Stephen Karam and PJ Paparelli, with dramaturgy by Patricia Hersch, and conceived and directed by Artistic Director PJ Paparelli. The production is now extended through Sunday, April 7, 2013 at American Theater Company, 1909 W Byron St, Chicago, IL. columbinus has garnered rave critical reviews of its new third act, which premieres material devised from recent interviews with survivors of the Columbine High School Shootings, families of victims and residents of Littleton, Colorado. The new material includes never-before-released information on the shooters and their families and first-hand accounts of both the Columbine and Aurora shootings.

Julie Andrews to be Honored at 2011 Princess Grace Awards, 11/1

The Princess Grace Foundation-USA (PGF-USA) is proud to announce that the 29th Annual Princess Grace Awards Gala will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City. The Awards ceremony will include the presentation of 21 awards to emerging artists in theater, dance and film as well as the Prince Rainier III Award to be presented to Julie Andrews and the Princess Grace Statue Award to be presented to Jon M. Chu. The Awards recipients hail from cities and states across America and will travel to New York City to receive their honor at the glamorous black tie ceremony. The 29th Annual Princess Grace Awards Gala will take place in the presence of TSH The Prince and The Princess of Monaco, marking their first U.S. visit since their July wedding. The evening will be chaired by Dr. Jon Turk (PGF-USA Trustee) and Carolyn Gusoff Turk. This year's Awards Gala will be highlighted by the unveiling of a unique tribute to Princess Grace by Montblanc.
