Utah Repertory Theater Company has announced final casting for the Utah premiere of the musical 'I Love You Because.' 'This cast is going to blow the roof of the theater with the talent they have,' said director Ashley Ramsey.

Libra Theater Company presents Songs You Should Know, A Concert of New Music from Great Writers, including new and rarely performed songs. Hosted by John Early, the concert is set for tonight, February 11th, 2013 at 9:30 pm (Doors open at 9:00 pm) at The Laurie Beechman Theatre, 407 West 42nd Street.

American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) Executive Director Ellen Richard announced today that The Costume Shop theater, A.C.T.'s 49-seat black-box venue located in San Francisco's Central Market corridor, will be home to a custom-designed Art-o-mat vending machine. Made from revamped vintage cigarette machines, the Art-o-mat machine dispenses small, cigarette pack-sized original pieces of artwork. Ranging from stained glass to watercolors to clay sculptures, the original artwork can be purchased from the machine for $5 per item. An official public unveiling, curated by Art-o-mat creator Clark Whittington, will take place at A.C.T.'s Costume Shop theater (1117 Market Street) on Monday, April 8, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The concert will feature some of Broadway's best young talent including Lauren Blackman, Andrew Durand, Christopher Jackson, Adam Kantor, Andrew Kober, Kyle Dean Massey, Andy Mientus, Karen Olivo, Kate Rockwell, Alysha Umphress and Barrett Wilbert Weed.

Composer RYAN SCOTT OLIVER (35mm, Mrs. Sharp) will offer a talkback for audiences following the Saturday September 8 matinee performance of the multi-composer musical Hot Mess in Manhattan currently running at American Theatre of Actors. Oliver is the composer of the show's opening number, "The Mess."

Next Thing You Know, a new musical from the Drama Desk-nominated team of Joshua Salzman and Ryan Cunningham (I Love You Because) will be released today; Yellow Sound Label will release the studio cast recording.
