Segal Theatre Center Presents PEN World Voices: International Play Festival, 4/28-30

The PEN World Voices Festival is an annual, week-long festival of international literature founded by Salman Rushdie and Paul Auster. This year, the Martin E. Segal Theatre Center will host readings of nine seminal plays from five continents by some of the world's most important and exciting dramatists at their PEN World Voices: International Play Festival.

LCT Shifts First Preview of Ethan Hawke-Led MACBETH to Oct. 25

In order to give the production more on-stage rehearsal time, Lincoln Center Theater's production of Shakespeare's MACBETH will now begin performances this Friday, October 25 at 8pm, one night later than previously scheduled. Opening night for the production, directed by Jack O'Brien, is Thursday, November 21 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater.

Signature Theatre presents The Mound Builders written byLanford Wilson and directed by Jo Bonney. The production will now play through Sunday, April 14. The production opened last night, March 17 in The Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). Signature's THE DANCE AND THE RAILROAD to Play China in May

Following the end of its run on March 24th at The Pershing Square Signature Center, Signature Theatre's critically acclaimed production of David Henry Hwang's play THE DANCE AND THE RAILROAD, directed by May Adrales, will play a limited run at The Inaugural Wuzhen Theatre Festival in Wuzhen, China, May 9-12, 2013. The entire production, featuring Ruy Iskandar as Ma and Yuekun Wu as Lone, will make the transfer. This marks the first time that a play by David Henry Hwang has been performed in mainland China.
