Matt Windman of amny writes in today's paper that 1985 musical 'The Mystery of Edwin Drood might be heading back to Broadway in the near future. He writes: 'I'm hearing rumors that the Roundabout Thetare Company's next revival will be 'The Mystery of Edwin Drood,' the thoroughly delightful 1980's murder mystery based on the unfinished Dickens novel.'
SAY GOODNIGHT GRACIE to Close 1/8; National Tour Launches 1/11

After receiving critical and popular acclaim for a sold-out fall limited engagement, "Say Goodnight Gracie," will play its final performances through January 8th at Off Broadway's St. Luke's Theatre (308 West 46th Street). But no rest for the weary - the production starring Joel Rooks asthe lovable George Burns will launch a national tour this winter in Florida starting January 11 at Orlando's Abbey Theatre, Jacksonville's Wilson Center for the Arts starting February 29th, and then traveling to The Aventura Arts & Cultural Center with performances beginning March 14th.

Justin Timberlake Eyed for A TIME TO KILL on Broadway?

Now, Michael Riedel reports in the New York Post that the play is getting closer to Broadway with a new reading set for Friday in New York, featuring Beau Bridges, his daughter Emily and Shuler Hensley. Riedel also reports that Justin Timberlake who has been looking for a theatre project will be 'approached' for the role of the show's young legal protege, Jack Brigance, played out of town by Sebastian Arcelus. There's no word on a potential timeline for the show, or if Timberlake is interested in the part.
