The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts is proud to announce the national awardees of the 43rd annual Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF), April 18-23, 2011. Through their success at regional festivals in January and February 2011, students from universities and colleges across the United States secured their places at last week's national festival and the opportunity to earn awards and scholarships.

At 7:30 p.m. Sunday, April 10, Washington University's Eliot Trio will perform a pair of works by Franz Joseph Haydn (1732-1809) and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky (1840-93) - works composed, respectively, to honor a doomed romance and a departed friend. The Eliot Trio, named for university founder William Greenleaf Eliot, consists of Seth Carlin, professor of music and director of the piano program in the Department of Music in Arts & Sciences; violinist David Halen, concertmaster for the St. Louis Symphony; and cellist Bjorn Ranheim, also with the St. Louis Symphony.

On April 7, at a special time-7 p.m.-Lincoln Center collaborates with Unsound Festival New York to present a double-bill featuring electronic music pioneer Morton Subotnik collaborating with video artist Lillevan, and for the first time in New York, genre-defying artist Atom™
