The Falcon Theatre presents the Troubadour Theater Company's A WITHER'S TALE, the first production in its 2010-2011 Subscription Season. The Ovation Award-winning theater company is bringing Shakespeare's somber saga to the stage, serenaded by the soulful songs of Mr. ‘Ain't No Sunshine', Bill Withers. Jealous King Leontes asks Who is He and What is He To You of wife Hermione, who professes, it's Just the Two of Us. But Leontes is convinced, 'They're trying to Use Me Up!' and banishes her, only to realize there Ain't No Sunshine When She's Gone. But with the help of Grandma's Hands, he regains his lost Hermione who says Lean On Me, and we'll have a Lovely Day.

Ian Talbot will direct Peter Sham and Brad Carroll's new musical comedy, Lend Me A Tenor The Musical, based on the award-winning West End and Broadway hit comedy by Ken Ludwig. A riotous, unpredictable explosion of mistaken identities and unexpected romance, Lend Me A Tenor The Musical will run at the Theatre Royal Plymouth from 24 September - 6 October 2010, prior to an anticipated West End run in the Autumn which will be produced by Martin Platt and David Elliott in association with Eileen and Allen Anes.

The cast for Noël Coward's Hay Fever at the Rose Theatre will be led by Celia Imrie as Judith Bliss from 23 September - 9 October and Nichola McAuliffe, who will take over the role from 11 - 23 October.

Producer Daryl Roth announced today that Tichina Arnold, Sabrina Le Beauf, Didi Conn, Barbara Feldon, Kate Flannery, Judy Gold, Alicia Goranson, Aisha De Haas, Ashley Austin Morris, Loretta Swit and Maria Tucci will join upcoming casts of Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron's Love, Loss, and What I Wore at the Westside Theatre (407 W 43 Street, NYC).

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey announced the casting of Lisa Harrow as Queen Eleanor in The Lion in Winter by James Goldman running on the Theatre's Main Stage from October 20 through November 14. Company member Laila Robins was originally slated to portray the role of Eleanor, but had to withdraw due to a scheduling conflict. The casting of Ms. Harrow is an exciting opportunity for Shakespeare Theatre audiences to be introduced to the work of this remarkable actress. Artistic Director Gregory Boyd announces the cast and artistic team for Alley Theatre's production of Peter Pan, or The Boy Who Would Not Grow Up, J.M. Barrie's rarely produced original fantasy, the first Hubbard Stage production in the 2010-11 Season.

On Monday, October 4th, Broadway producer Elizabeth I. McCann will interview screen icon and celebrated stage actress Kathleen Turner.

Tickets will go on sale on Thursday 23 September for Ghost The Musical which begins its West End run at the Piccadilly Theatre on 22 June 2011, with booking open for performances until 28 January 2012.

Marin Theatre Company announces that due to exceptional ticket demand, the west coast premiere production of In the Red and Brown Water by Tarell Alvin McCraney will extend one week. In the Red and Brown Water, Part One of McCraney's acclaimed The Brother/Sister Plays trilogy and directed by MTC Producing Director Ryan Rilette, extends its run now through October 10.

With a special theatrical experience that is also a stroll in the park, the Wexner Center for the Arts and Franklin Park Conservatory will co-present Susurrus, an audio play designed for botanical gardens by Glasgow playwright and director David Leddy. The show will run October 14-October 24, 2010 in and around Franklin Park Conservatory.

American Theater Company (ATC) opens its 26th season with David Mamet's Oleanna and Speed-the-Plow in repertory for the first time ever. The productions are directed by Steppenwolf ensemble member Rick Snyder and will run at American Theater Company, 1909 W Byron St, Chicago. Press opening for Speed-the-Plow and Oleanna is Monday, September 20 at 6:00PM and 9:00PM, respectively.

Westport Public Library is pleased to announce that The Malloy Lecture in the Arts will be held on Thursday, September 16, at 7:00 pm. The event will take place at Westport Country Playhouse (25 Powers Court, Westport). Entitled 'The Malloy Lecture in the Arts: Remembering Archie (Archibald MacLeish-The Poet and the Man), as told by Christopher Plummer,' the evening will feature Emmy and Tony award-winning actor Christopher Plummer, who will combine MacLeish's poetry with his personal reminiscences of the poet. In addition, Plummer will be interviewed by Westport Country Playhouse Artistic Advisor Anne Keefe about his own career and memoir, 'In Spite of Myself.'
