Play On Shakespeare Announces 2021 Board Of Directors

Play On Shakespeare, the not-for-profit organization dedicated to exploring the world of Shakespeare through translation and adaptation, today announces their new board members as well as their January 2021 calendar of events. Play On Shakespeare's mission is to enhance the understanding of Shakespeare's plays in performance for theatre professionals, students, teachers, and audiences by engaging with contemporary translations and adaptations.

Pitlochry Festival Theatre To Launch 70th Anniversary Year With Its First Winter Ensemble

Pitlochry Festival Theatre has announced that to celebrate the start of its 70th anniversary year, it will, for the first time in its history,  be creating an exciting Winter Ensemble of 21 actors from Scotland and further afield. Unlike previous ensembles at Pitlochry Festival Theatre,  the ensemble will be entirely creating new work online during the winter months

Nominations Announced for the CDG Casting Awards 2021

The Casting Directors’ Guild (CDG) in partnership with Spotlight is pleased to announce nominations for the 2021 CDG Casting Awards, which will take place during an online ceremony on Tuesday 16 February 2021.

David Mamet’s provocative drama Oleanna, directed by Lucy Bailey stars Rosie Sheehy and Jonathan Slinger and is running at Theatre Royal Bath’s Ustinov Studio from 3 December to 22 December and again from 4 January to 16 January 2021. Reduced capacity at the Ustinov Studio will allow for an audience of 60 persons per performance.
