Randal Myler Set To Direct Staged Reading Of GREED! THE NEW MUSICAL At 92Y 6/15

Tony nominated director RANDAL MYLER will direct a staged reading of GREED! THE NEW MUSICAL. Presented by THE 92ND STREET Y in conjunction with KELVIN PRODUCTIONS, GREED! tells the story of Jonathan Arnold, a young earnest professor from the Midwest who has been tasked to raise a large, but failing New York company's stock pricewithin forty days.

Special Guests for the celebration will include Brian Stokes Mitchell, Liz Calloway, Rosie Perez, Peter Gerety, Jill Clayburgh, David Rabe, Ayodele Casel, Paul Krugman, Lou Reed, Ira Glass, Jason Moran, Cornel West, ETHEL String Quartet, Joy Behar, Richard Goode, Sonia Sanchez, Simone Dinnerstein, and ELMO, among others.

Written by Raúl Castillo and directed by Felix Solis, Knives and Other Sharp Objects will run through Sunday, April 19. The official press opening is tonight, Sunday, April 12. Tickets are $10 for all performances.
