Berkshire Theatre Group Announces Featured Fall Artists at the Colonial Theatre, Pittsfield:

Finbar Wright, Anthony Kearns, and Ronan Tynan have been touring together as The Irish Tenors since 1998, with sold-out shows at Radio City Music Hall, Sydney Opera House, Carnegie Hall, The Hollywood Bowl, and major concert halls throughout the world. Their faces and voices are familiar to PBS audiences through several specials, including the 'Ellis Island' recordings that sold a million CDs and DVDs.

Ronan Tynan will be awarded the Ellis Island Medal of Honor today, May 12, 2012, at Ellis Island.

Tenors Daniel Rodriguez, Andy Cooney and Ronan Tynan performed in concert last night, April 28, at Our Lady of Lourdes Auditorium for a benefit show for Tenor Michael Amante's (one of the New York Tenors) wife Seema, who passed away suddenly on December 28, 2011, leaving Amante and his three young children with financial difficulties. Introduced to international audiences as a founding member of the Irish Tenors, Ronan Tynan began the spring portion of his solo tour at Mechanics Hall in Worcester, MA, on March 3, 2012. Ronan is the main attraction for Worcester's Rotary Club in their 100th Anniversary celebration.

Ronan Tynan once again returned to The Patchogue Theatre, Patchogue, New York for what has become an annual February event. This year's concert took place on February 25 and was another sold out event.

The stakes are high at the 7th Annual Alltech Vocal Scholarship Competition, occurring once again at the University of Kentucky's Singletary Center for the Arts. On Sunday, March 4, from 2 to 5 p.m., sixteen hopeful students will compete for more than half a million dollars in scholarship prizes.
