Museum of the Moving Image's ongoing series See It Big! presents classic and contemporary films on the big screen in the beautiful Sumner M. Redstone Theater. In November and December, the Museum will showcase 22 films photographed by some of the world's greatest cinematographers, including Gordon Willis, Vittorio Storaro, Vilmos Zsigmond, Nestor Almendros, Raoul Coutard, James Wong Howe, and more. The series, See It Big!: Great Cinematographers, runs from November 8 through December 29, 2013.

Based on The New York Times bestselling book 'Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption' by Laura Hillenbrand ('Seabiscuit: An American Legend'), Unbroken is set to begin production later this month. Jolie, who is joined on the project by fellow producers Matthew Baer (City by the Sea) and Erwin Stoff (The Day the Earth Stood Still), has been a fierce champion of bringing this incredible story of Louis 'Louie' Zamperini's bravery and heroism to the big screen. Joining the behind-the-scenes crew are an accomplished team, led by ten-time Oscar-nominated cinematographer Roger Deakins (Skyfall), who comes aboard as director of photography, and Jon Hutman (In the Land of Blood and Honey), who reteams with Jolie as the film's production designer.

Principal photography is underway on location in Georgia for Alcon Entertainment's "Prisoners," a Warner Bros. The Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) has announced the nominees for the 18th annual Critics' Choice Movie Awards. The winners will be announced live at the Critics' Choice Movie Awards ceremony on Thursday, January 10, 2013 from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif. The show will broadcast live on The CW Network at 8:00 PM ET/PT.
The Boston, New York and Los Angeles Film Critics Awards were announced over the weekend. Among the big winners was Kathryn Bigelow's ZERO DARK THIRTY, a thriller which recounts the capture and killing of Osama bin Laden. Also featured in the top choices were 'The Master' and 'Amour', with awards going to actors Joaquin Phoenix and Amy Adams.
