On Monday, September 14th, The Marvelous Wonderettes celebrates its one-year anniversary in New York where it continues to run at Off-Broadway's Westside Theatre, upstairs (407 West 43rd Street). Written and directed by Roger Bean, The Marvelous Wonderettes features Kirsten Bracken, Misty Cotton, Christina DeCicco and Lindsay Mendez.

Single tickets will go on sale starting September 16, 2009 for all of the shows in Musical Theatre West's 2009/10 Season. Last January, Paul Garman, Executive Director/Producer and Steven Glaudini, Associate Artistic Director of Musical Theatre West announced the 2009-2010 Season that will be presented at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center in Long Beach.

Laughter was certainly in the air on Friday night, as was generosity at the opening of the new summer musical comedy, Married ALIVE! at Actors' Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre in downtown Coral Gables. Audiences were treated to a riotous musical about the mayhems of matrimony in the upstairs balcony theatre while Actors' Playhouse received a special gift from long-time sponsor American Express, a $20,000 check in support of the Theatre.
