On the heels of behind-the-scenes sneak peeks with Adam Pascal, Seth Rudetsky and Roger Bart earlier this week, BWW continues to follow the epic cast of Broadway's new musical comedy, DISASTER!

Look out, Broadway! The most groundbreaking musical comedy ever is now in previews at the Nederlander Theatre: Disaster! Set in the wildest decade ever, Disaster! delivers earthquakes, tidal waves, infernos and some of the most unforgettable songs of the 70's, including 'Knock On Wood,' 'I Am Woman' and 'Hot Stuff.'

In the star-studded biopic TRUMBO, available today on Blu-Ray and Digital HD, Bryan Cranston plays the screenwriter and delivers a captivating, nuanced performance. For the role, Cranston has been nominated for his first Academy Award, up against stiff competition in Leonardo DiCaprio (THE REVENANT) and Matt Damon (THE MARTIAN). The film costars Diane Lane as Trumbo's long-suffering wife Cleo, Louis C.K. as his cantankerous fellow blacklistee Arlen Hird, Helen Mirren as gossip columnist Hedda Hopper, and John Goodman as Frank King, the B-movie studio exec who hired Trumbo despite his banishment.

Coming to Broadway, come hell or high water is the new musical comedy Disaster!, currently in previews at the Nederlander Theatre. Today in 1999, You're A Good an Charlie Brown opened at the Ambassador Theatre, where it ran for 149 performances. A 1967 musical comedy with music and lyrics by Clark Gesner, the show is based on the characters created by cartoonist Charles M. Schulz in his comic strip Peanuts. THe 1999 revival featured new dialogue by Michael Mayer, who also directed, and additional songs and orchestration written by Andrew Lippa; choreography was by Jerry Mitchell. The cast featured Anthony Rapp, Kristin Chenoweth, and Roger Bart.

Daniel and Laura Curtis just completed recording their newest charity single, 'Everyone Can Help Someone', with Adam Pascal at New York City's Dubway Studios. The composing couple are working in aid of UNICEF to release their charity single with the express desire to bring added focus to the humanitarian work of UNICEF. The song is set to be released around the world on February 22nd.
