The Union City Museum of Art presents 'Cabaret at the Museum', the new monthly music/cabaret series Hosted by Lucio Fernandez and held at the William V. Musto Cultural Center located at 420 - 15th Street in Union City, NJ. On Friday, May 17, 2013 at 8:00 PM, Susan Scherman, Manager of The Robert Lawrence Orchestra & Quartet presents featured vocalist Barbara Rosene (also with The Harry James Orchestra), accompanied by Kelly Friesen on Bass and Ray Macciarola on Guitar for an evening of Hit Vintage and Big Band Era Tunes.

Digitalspy.com reports that Linkin Park and Evanescence will be among the list of musical artists to be featured on the soundtrack for the upcoming vampire film UNDERWORLD: AWAKENING. Joining them will be The Cure and Lacuna Coil.

UNDERWORLD: AWAKENING is coming to theaters on January 20, 2011 from Screen Gems. The fantasy, horror film was directed by Mans Marlind and Bjorn Stein and stars Kate Beckinsale, Michael Ealy, India Eisley, Sandrine Holt, Robert Lawrenceson, Charles Dance and Stephen Rea.

Before Lee DeWyze became an Idol on America's favorite singing contest, he wrote and recorded two albums in his hometown with an all star band including Louis Svitek, previously of Ministry, MOD and Mind Funk, Rob Bonaccorsi, from Freddy Jones Band and Ryan McGuire.
