Ensemble Studio Theatre/LA has announced the West Coast premiere of The Ugly One, a comedy by Marius von Mayenburg (English translation by Maja Zade), directed by Gates McFadden. Starring Robert Joy, Tony Pasqualini, Eve Gordon, and Peter Larney, The Ugly One is set to open today, February 15 with performances at 5pm and 8pm. The limited engagement will run through March 24.

Directed by Academy Award winning director Bill Condon, the musical will play at La Jolla Playhouse now through December 17 and will open at the Kennedy Center Eisenhower Theater in spring 2014. On this week's episode of CSI: NY, titled 'Blood Actually,' on Valentine's Day, Mac and the team tackle three twisted tales of love gone wrong, on CSI: NY, Friday, Feb. 15 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Internationally renowned multi-platinum recording artist Josh Groban guest stars as himself, performing one of his own songs, 'Happy in My Heartache,' from his new album All That Echoes.
The cast is set for "The Nether," a gripping new play by Jennifer Haley in which the moral complexity of the increasingly pervasive and addictive world of virtual reality is explored. "The Nether" will have its world premiere at the Kirk Douglas Theatre, March 19 through April 14, 2013. The opening is scheduled for March 24.
AS YOU LIKE IT, the first of Shakespeare in the Park's season offerings, concludes its run tonight. It will be followed by INTO THE WOODS, which begins July 23.
