Jennifer Bowles will play the title role opposite Rob McClure in New York City Center Encores! production of Irma La Douce, running for seven performances,May 7 - 11, 2014. The final production of the 2014 Encores! season will also feature Sam Bolen, Allan Corduner, Ben Crawford, Stephen DeRosa, Ken Krugman, Zachary James and Chris Sullivan. Irma La Douce will be directed by John Doyle and choreographed by Chase Brock, with music direction by Rob Berman.

Delaware Theatre Company will close its 35th season with the 35th anniversary of the hit musical AIN'T MISBEHAVIN', conceived by Richard Maltby, Jr. and Murray Horwitz. Delaware Theatre Company's production will be directed by original Broadway director and co-creator Richard Maltby, Jr. and feature his own handpicked cast alongside the original designs from the 1978 Tony Award-winning production.
Recursion, a new short film starring Tony® Award Nominee Rob McClure (Chaplin, Honeymoon in Vegas) makes its New York debut at the Queens World Film Festival tonight at the Museum of Moving Image. The film which is directed, shot & edited by Tony® & Olivier Award Nominee Sam Buntrock (Sunday in the Park with George) has been making its rounds through such festivals as the Richmond International Film Festival & the Boston Science Fiction Film Festival. Recursion's debut at the Queens World Film Festival will mark the first time it can publically be seen in New York. The film is written by 'Wicked' alum Stanton Nash & is Produced by Tony® Award Nominee Antonio Marion (Big Fish, Evita). "Recursion has been a tremendous labor of love for myself, Stanton and our Director Sam for quite some time now", says producer Antonio Marion, "it is so tremendously exciting that we get to finally debut it to our friends, colleagues and those that made this film possible in Queens & New York".

Goodspeed Musicals announced on its Facebook page today that Broadway's Laura Benanti and Rob McClure will be leading the company's upcming workshop of IRVING BERLIN'S HOLIDAY INN in NYC. The event will be the first invitation-only reading of the brand new musical, based on the Universal Pictures classic. With a book from writers Gordon Greenberg and Chad Hodge, the adaptation will feature music and lyrics by Irving Berlin.

The winners of the 4th Annual Clive Barnes Award were announced Monday, January 6 at The Walter Reade Theatre, Lincoln Centre. This year's Theatre Award, presented by Susan Stroman was given to Jonny Orsini for his performance in The Nance. This year's Dance Award, presented by Wendy Whelan, was given to Lloyd Mayor of Martha Graham Dance Company.

This years' nominees for theatre are Aaron Clifton Moten for his performance in The Flick, Jonny Orsini for his performance in The Nance, Phillipa Soo for her performance in Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812, and Amber Iman for her performance in Soul Doctor. Paper Mill Playhouse has announced auditions for its 2014 Summer Professional Training Programs for talented young performers ages 10 to 18. Paper Mill's competitive Summer Musical Theatre Conservatory will open on June 30, 2014 in its new home at the Union County Performing Arts Center (UCPAC) and Hamilton Stage for the Performing Arts, in cooperation with their affiliate theater, music and dance companies. Auditions are scheduled for January 25 and February 1, 2014 at UCPAC. An appointment is required to audition for the Paper Mill Playhouse Summer Musical Theater Conservatory.
