According to Deadline.com, PROMISES, PROMISES' Molly Shannon will be joinning the cast of an HBO comedy by Simpsons' Tim Long after her Broadway run. The title of the series remains unknown; however, Shannon will play a nun who joined the convent after getting her heart broken at 18.
Broadway bound Ricky Martin is set to appear on The Oprah Winfrey Show on November 2. In the interview, the latin superstar will discuss his take on coming out as a gay man and becoming a single father of twins. Martin will also give his first performance in years alongside Grammy winner Joss Stone. Check your local listings for air times.

Stltoday.com reports that the New Line Theatre in St. Louis has secured the rights to the musical Cry-Baby, which had a short run on Broadway in 2008. The musical will takes it's regional debut bow in the Spring of 2010, according to the report.
