Lookingglass Theatre Company announces its 2014-2015 Season, opening with Lucas Hnath's Death Tax directed by Artistic Director of New Work Heidi Stillman; the return of Lookingglass' hallmark Lookingglass Alice, adapted and directed by Ensemble Member David Catlin in association with The Actors Gymnasium; Will Eno's Title and Deed directed by Lookingglass Literary Manager and Company Dramaturg Marti Lyons; and the World Premiere Lookingglass original adaptation of Herman Melville's Moby Dick, adapted and directed by Ensemble Member David Catlin in association with The Actors Gymnasium.

The Chicago Academy for the Arts has announced the highly anticipated A Taste for the Arts Gala will return to the Harris Theater and Millennium Park Terrace Tuesday, May 13, 2014. This exceptional evening, hosted by Donna LaPietra and Bill Kurtis, will feature a performance by the emerging artists of The Academy alongside the dazzling cuisine of some of Chicago's hottest chefs including lead chef Curtis Duffy (Grace), Rick Bayless (Frontera Grill/Topolobampo/XOCO) and Tony Priolo (Piccolo Sogno/Piccolo Sogno Due).

Public Broadcasting Service began airing Celebrity Chef Devin Alexander's new show 'America's Chefs on Tour' this past fall. The series comes to Northern California on KQED starting January 5, 2013. Alexander embarked on a cross-country road trip last spring, performing live cooking demonstrations, food tastings from coast-to-coast with stops in three popular California cities: San Francisco, Los Angeles, and San Diego.
