The Leicester Square Theatre has announced its upcoming events for September 2013.

DanceWorks Chicago (DWC) starts SEASON 7 by welcoming new dancers, making its Dance for Life debut, and engaging national and international choreographers.

The critically acclaimed revival of Horton Foote's American masterpiece, THE TRIP TO BOUNTIFUL, will host a special free talkback following the performance on Wednesday evening, August 14th. THE TRIP TO BOUNTIFUL talkback series kicked off last week with a panel featuring Betty Buckley, Ellen Burstyn, and Hallie Foote as they discussed the appeal and challenges of appearing in a Horton Foote play.

An exhibit of images by Joan B. Myers, award-winning photographer and Long Branch native, will be on display from August 17 through Sept 7, 2013 at Anytime Dance Studio/ Gallery of the Arts. Joan would like you to envision photography and dance as sharing the common element of movement.

INCENDIO FLAMENCO, the third annual showcase presentation by master choreographer, performing artist and teacher Roberto Amaral, is a dynamic and colorful program spotlighting fiery Flamenco, elegant Spanish contemporary dance and cutting-edge modern Flamenco fusion.

Penguin Rep Theatre presents the world premiere of Drop Dead Perfect, a new comedy by Erasmus Fenn, directed by Penguin Rep founder and Artistic Director Joe Brancato, and starring Drama Desk Award winner and legendary Ridiculous Theatrical Company veteran Everett Quinton, beginning tonight, August 9 in Stony Point (Rockland County), New York.

Aurora's Paramount Theatre will launch its third Broadway subscription series this September with the first local professional staging of In the Heights, one of Broadway's most acclaimed contemporary musicals, a potent reminder of the importance of chasing one's dreams, and the show all of Chicago will be talking about this fall. Performances are September 11 through October 6, 2013. Press opening is Saturday, September 14 at 8 p.m.

Officials of Memphis in May International Festival announced plans to honor the Republic of Panama for the 38th edition of the festival during its annual year-end review meeting on August 1 at the Memphis Botanic Garden. James L. Holt, president and CEO of Memphis in May commented: "Panama is a fascinating country that offers a rich heritage and history along with a vibrant modern culture. We look forward to an exciting celebration in May 2014."

The 7pm concert, produced by Amzi Entertainment, will feature a 15 piece orchestra and feature song selections from Alan's four albums, 'Dreaming Wide Awake,' 'Keys,' 'What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up,' and 'LIVE.' The concert will have a very special finale.
