After two wildly successful runs of ReGina Taylor's gospel-driven musical Crowns in 2005 and 2007, Trustus Theatre is celebrating their 25th Anniversary by reviving this hit production in 2010. Crowns opens Friday, February 12 at 8:00pm on the Trustus Main Stage.

Rehearsals begin this week for Goodman Theatre's world premiere of A True History of the Johnstown Flood by Rebecca Gilman, whose work was most recently included in Time magazine's 'Best Theatre Productions of the Decade.' Commissioned by the Goodman and directed by Robert Falls, A True History of the Johnstown Flood runs March 13 - April 18, 2010 in the Goodman's Albert Theatre. Second Stage Theatre has announced that Tony Award winners John Lithgow and Jennifer Ehle will star as MR. & MRS. FITCH in the world premiere comedy from Douglas Carter Beane. The production marks Mr. Beane's return to Second Stage Theatre where his critically acclaimed, Tony-nominated play The Little Dog Laughed premiered in 2005. MR. & MRS. FITCH will be directed by Scott Ellis, who also staged the world premiere and Broadway transfer of The Little Dog Laughed. Previews begin at Second Stage Theatre on January 26, 2010; opening night is scheduled for Thursday, February 22.
